Tenor Andrea Bocelli Sings Italian Duet With Ariana Grande

Blind Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, who boomed into stardom back in the early 1990s after becoming the late Luciano Pavarotti's protégé, will be releasing his latest album "Cinema". The record comprises a series of songs from movies including Maria in the 'West Side Story' and Brucia la Terra in 'The Godfather'.

However, besides getting himself ready for the upcoming release of his new album, the 57-year old singer-pianist couldn't hide his excitement as he added that the album includes a duet version of 'E Piu ti Penso' with the pop star, Ariana Grande.

"I love very much this kind of music. Why? Because.. the music of the movies is like a big field where composers can run where they want and be.. free," Bocelli said in a statement during his interview held in English at The Elstree Studios in London, where he was doing a song for a British television show, Strictly Come Dancing.

He went on saying, "She comes from a different repertoire and her voice is very nice, very sensual. I think for her also it's been very interesting to change the atmosphere of the repertoire, I think that her fans will be very surprised, to listen to Ariana Grande sing a song like this."

Following the release of their classic duet music video on Vevo, Bocelli also follows up the release of his new album 'Cinema' which will be under a US nationwide Public Broadcasting Service set to air on November 27, Friday.

Andrea Bocelli has already sold 85 million albums and is recognized as one of the best selling music artists of all time. The music legend, who has already compiled 11 successful opera recordings, said there's no difference between singing romantic ballads and crossover tunes.

"I think basically there is only one way to sing. What changes is the atmosphere, the feeling. So every score needs a different approach but the singing is one for me, the technique to sing is one." He said.

Ariana Grande on the other hand, is preparing for the upcoming release of her latest single 'Focus' which will premiere on October 30, Friday.
