If you're wondering why Amanda Bynes missed the All That reunion at Comic Con New York, Us Weekly reports the Nickelodeon alum is focusing on her fashion dreams in LA.
Just recently, her family's lawyer Tamar Arminak confirmed to the magazine that Bynes is finally back in school. "We are all so proud of her," Arminak said. "Can't wait to see her amazing designs on the runway someday."
The 29-year-old Hairspray actress, who's net worth is $5.7 million, grabbed huge media attention for her erratic behaviour and DUI arrests since 2012. The troubled star then enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) to pursue her career in fashion in 2014.
Bynes, however, was reportedly kicked out of school on the same year after throwing a fit when she was caught cheating. She also showed up high in classes and bribed her classmates to do her home works.
The former child star was placed under psychiatric hold for some weeks.
"I was diagnosed bi - polar and manic depressive so I'm on medication," she tweeted last November. "I'm seeing my psychologist and pyshchiatrist weekly so I'm fine."
"I am doing my best to get better," she told Us Weekly in a statement through her lawyer on the same month. "I am sorry for any pain I caused my family and others...I am thankful for everyone's patience and understanding."
After taking a break from the social media since March, Bynes resurfaced in August and posted a photo where she looked happy and healthy.
"Me and the fabulous Michael Costello (I'm wearing one of his beautiful gowns) at the SOAR Los Angeles Gala!" she captioned her photo with the designer.
Catch Amanda Bynes during healthier times at Nickelodeon's The Splat programming which will feature re-runs of your favourite Nick classics such as All That, Kenan & Kel, Clarissa Explains It All, Hey Arnold, Rugrats and others.
