The 65th Annual Emmys will pay special tribute to five famous TV talents who died this past year in addition to the traditional "In Memoriam" segment, CBS announced Monday.

The telecast will offer separate and personal tributes for each individual. 

Edie Falco will pay tribute to her late TV husband, "The Sopranos'" James Gandolfini. Gandolfini died of a heart attack in June at age 51. Glee actress Jane Lynch will honor her former "Glee" co-star Cory Monteith. Monteith died in July at age 31 of a heroin and alcohol overdose. 

Michael J. Fox will appear to pay homage to "Family Ties" and "Spin City" creator Gary David Goldberg, the Emmy award-winner died of brain cancer in June. 

Rob Reiner will remember his late "All in the Family" co-star Jean Stapleton, who reportedly died of natural causes. Robin Williams will pay tribute to his mentor and former "Mork & Mindy" co-star Jonathan Winters, who also passed away of natural causes.

"The 'In Memoriam' is a very emotional and evocative segment for the Emmys, or any annual awards program," executive producer Ken Ehrlich said in a statement, according to Fox News. "These five individuals brought us such great entertainment and joy, so having their close friends share personal remembrances is something that will be very meaningful for television audiences across the country and across the generations.

"And our traditional 'In Memoriam' segment will be presented in a unique new format that will give added importance to an already much anticipated segment of the Emmy show," he said. 

Ehrlich was one of the first producers to enhance the "In Memoriam" feature by adding a live musical component when he oversaw the Grammys in 2003. He said the Emmy remembrances won't diminish the importance of others who will be honored in the regular segment.

Neil Patrick Harris will host the television awards ceremony, which airs live at 8 ET/5 PT on CBS,
