The "Pretty Girls" singer recently took to Instagram to share photos of her working hard on her new upcoming album in the studio.

On Thursday, 33-year-old Britney Spears posted a behind-the-scenes photo with DJ Burns and producer Mischke Butler (of course, they're by her side in the snap!) on Thursday.

The photo didn't have an accompanying caption, but it surely was enough to make Britney Spears fans go crazy.

One user commented, "I can't wait for the new album and songs omg," while another shared pretty much what everyone else was thinking: "Love u queen!!"

It seems as though fans aren't the only ones excited for Britney's ninth album.

Mischke Butler also posted a snap on Instagram the same day, captioned: "Hey @britneyspears I'm sorry I'm so tall, we made some [fire] though so it's cool."

According to Entertainment Tonight, this upcoming record marks Britney Spears' first album since "Britney Jean" in 2013.

Unfortunately, there haven't been announcements as to when the new album will be out yet - fans just have to stay patient as Britney Spears still has her "Piece of Me" Las Vegas residency show at Planet Hollywood until 2017.
