Backstreet Boys Spice Girls: Could Biggest 90s Pop Bands Launch Joint Tour? Quit Playing Games With Our Hearts, Wannabes!

As Nick Carter, perhaps the most notorious member of the biggest boy band in the 1990s, joins the 20th season of "Dancing with the Stars," the band that made him famous might have bigger plans in the works, as a joint tour with Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls could be in the making!

While Backstreet Boys have been around for more than two decades after being formed in 1993 as a response to bands like The New Kids on the Block, it's a fact that they haven't achieved the same level of popularity as they had in the 1990s with hits like "Everybody" - but could all that change with a joint Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls tour?

According to NME, there may be a Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls tour in the making these days, after Backstreet member A.J. McLean (you know, the "bad boy" one with all the tattoos) revealed that the two bands were discussing the possibility.

"The Spice Girls tour has been this idea bouncing around for the past year and a half, and it's something we're still talking about," McLean told Rolling Stone Magazine recently, speaking about the ongoing rumors of Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls going on tour together for the ultimate 90s pop extravaganza.

InTouch Weekly reports that there have been rumors of a Spice Girls reunion for a while, as members such as Melanie Brown (Mel B, also known as Scary Spice) have said that they're planning to get back together for a new tour to celebrate their milestone two decades since they started, though it's been made clear that fashion designer Victoria Beckham wouldn't be coming back - but if they're planning to make a comeback between Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls, nobody would be upset!

Even missing one member from both bands, a Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls tour sounds absolutely amazing.
