'Batman v Superman' Update: Is Jesse Eisenberg Playing Lex Luthor's Son In 'Dawn Of Justice?' [SPOILERS]

It looks like the villain in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' is not who we think he is.

The Lex Luthor Twitter account has just tweeted about being featured in Fortune, adding the link to an article filled with jaw-dropping details about the character.

[SPOILER ALERT]

According to the Fortune faux biography, Alexander Joseph Luthor Jr has taken over LexCorp and turned his father's company into a tech giant.

"Dad named the company after himself ten years before I made my unexpected entrance into his life. But investors seemed to respond to the idea of an adoring father building a legacy for his precious son. He used that to his advantage. It was a good shtick and, whatever else he was, he was a good businessman," Eisenberg's character says of his father.

So if Jesse Eisenberg will portray Lex Luthor Jr., is there any possibility that Lex Luthor Sr. will make an appearance in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice?'

According to the article, Lex Luthor passed away in 2000 and left his company to his son, who elevated LexCorp to a different level.

"The achievements of LexCorp's founder pale in comparison to the astonishing accomplishments of the younger Luthor, who was the youngest ever to be named Fortune's Businessperson of the Year and included on the magazine's list of the World's 50 Greatest Leaders," the article read.

It also looks like the fictional Lex Luthor Jr. biography also knows a thing or two about DC comic book history. At one point, Luthor Jr. mentions his father's past.

"He came from a country where the government, in the guise of protector, had absolute control over the citizens. That drove him. I get it. Heck, I'd hate to see that sort of thing happen over here," the younger Luthor says of his father.

The statement could be a reference to the comic book storyline where Lex Luthor becomes the President of the United States.

Find out the truth about Lex Luthor when 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
