Are you a happy camper? Would a £585,000 RV that's built like a tank help? If yes, then the Action Mobil Global XRS 7200 is exactly what you are looking for. This camper van truck offers 23 square feet of space and provides all the creature comforts that you just can't live without. But what else can this monster truck offer you?
Well, as far as luxury goes, you get a 40-inch satellite HD TV, oven, sink, washer and dryer, and a lift at the back to bring around a motorbike. A Bose audio system and Apple TV media streaming also comes with the package, as does the wireless LAN for connectivity, Paul Tan Org reported.
The bathroom is also fully-furnished with a bidet, toilet, sink, and shower. Under the hood is a 720-horsepower engine and is described by its manufacturer as a "motor home for global cruises," the Daily Mail UK reported. The RV also weighs an astonishing 18 tons!
From the outside you can already tell that this RV means business. Its boxy exterior, coupled with a military green paint job, is more reminiscent of a tank than anything else. The RV also comes in two, three, and four-axle variants.
According to the company website, "This luxury all-wheel motorhome captivates by its clear-cut lines, optimum functionality for long stays in off-road terrain and exclusive, homely atmosphere - all this in a motorhome for globe cruises."
Stephan Wirths, managing director of Action Mobil revealed that the company has, so far, sold 300 units already. Considering that this mobile home costs three times as much as a regular British home, that number is substantial, The Mirror UK reported.
The Action Mobil Global XRS 7200, despite its massive size, is neither the biggest nor the most expensive offering of the Austria-based company. The Desert Challenger is a specially made model that weighs 30 tons and was once sold for more than £1million.
Wirths added, "People always have a great reaction the first time they see it - I like every single feature on the Global XRS 7200."
