Although Jon Snow sightings have recently been as rampant as that of Bigfoot's, there just hasn't been enough photographic evidence to confirm that Jon Snow is, in fact, alive and well and returning in the sixth season of 'Game of Thrones.' Fans have reported about seeing Kit Harington in Belfast with his fellow cast members and some have even reported that the actor is filming a huge battle scene involving several Northern Lords.
The Lord of Light may have finally answered the prayers of Jon Snow fans.
A new photo has surfaced showing Kit Harington on the 'Game of Thrones' set with his luscious locks pinned up in a man bun. The actor also appears to have a sword on his side, which is presumably Longclaw.
So does the Jon Snow photo really prove that the Lord Commander is back from the dead?
[SPOILERS AFTER THE IMAGE]
Are you ready for it?
According to Huffington Post, the picture shows that Jon Snow is not wearing the black clothes of the Night's Watch and is instead in a brown outfit that looks very familiar. The brown outfit looks a lot like the one Ned Stark wore in the first season and the one that Robb Stark has donned for some time. The brown outfit belongs to the Warden of the North, an outfit worn by the Starks.
So does this mean Jon Snow is now Jon Stark?
In the book 'A Storm of Swords,' Robb Stark decided to legitimize Jon Snow so he can be named Lord of Winterfell in case Robb dies. Although Catelyn Stark agrees with the decree, both she and Robb were murdered at the Red Wedding.
The new Jon Snow photo might actually prove that nobody was lying when they said "Jon Snow is dead," because he is no longer Jon Snow. Kit Harington could now be playing Jon Stark, the new Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North and even the King in the North.
Find out if Jon Snow becomes Jon Stark and saves Winterfell from the Boltons when the sixth season of 'Game of Thrones' airs on HBO next spring.
