‘Men In Black’ 2015: Trilogy Reboot Of Will Smith Tommy Lee Jones Alien Film Coming Up, ‘Fresh Prince’ NOT Involved

It's been 17 years since Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones joined forces for the first time in the secret government section in charge of alien interactions on planet Earth, and Sony's missing the past hit and has just announced a "Men In Black" 2015 reboot - but the original stars won't be around for it.

Sony Pictures is moving forward with a "Men In Black" 2015 project right now after the 2013 third part of the film, which starred Smith and had Josh Brolin taking the role of a younger K, the role made famous by Jones - but the next film will not be a direct follow-up, it seems.

According to Den Of Geek, the "Men in Black" 2015 project sees the franchise "reinvented as a trilogy," and when asked if the "Hitch" actor would be involved in the upcoming project, the producers said that he would probably not be on board.

Despite his current involvement in the superhero arena by playing Deadshot in next year's "Suicide Squad," Smith has vowed down from sequels in the past few months, saying "no" to reboots of some of his most beloved films like "Bad Boys" and "Independence Day" in the past few months.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald, the married producer couple who brought the first two films to life (as well as Oscar-winning films like Sam Mendes' "American Beauty" and "Gladiator") spoke about reviving "Men In Black" in 2015, saying that the project was "very active" as it was being worked into a trilogy.

As Entertainment Weekly reports, last year, during the Sony Pictures leak that revealed the content of e-mails of people working on the studio, it was revealed that they were planning to do a crossover between "21 Jump Street" and "Men In Black" 2015, but it's unclear whether that project will live through after it was leaked in its earliest phases.

In any case, there will surely be more "Men In Black" 2015 news in the next few months!
