'Selena Gomez' Sizzles In High-Cut One-Piece Swimsuit

Selena Gomez soaked up the sun in a sizzling black one-piece swimsuit on the beach in Miami on Friday, Sept. 18.

The "Love Me Like A Love Song" songstress rocked the skimpy frock - which costs $48 at American Apparel - all the better to reveal her newest tattoo of the om symbol high up in her thigh, Us Weekly reported.

Selena's swimwear comes on the heels of the high-cut one-piece bathing suit's apparent trend once again as it has been sighted on several Hollywood stars which include Beyoncé, Rihanna, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.

The ex-girlfriend of Justin Bieber is clearly flaunting her hot and sexy bod on the beach in the statement swimwear - which made her feel confident somehow. "I feel very empowered and confident in where I am," Selena said on "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" on Sept. 11."I think it took me a long while to get there because the past year was so interesting because I've never been body-shamed before. I dealt with a whole other set of issues that were really interesting. I did gain weight, but I don't care."

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Disney alum is not ruling out getting back together with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin. She confessed to Elle magazine she is sick of everyone being obsessed with her past relationship.

"I'll forever support him and love him in a way that," she said of the 21-year-old "What Do You Mean?" singer, after clarifying they're now just "genuinely" good friends. "We grew up together. I think people want it to be different...[but] I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner."

She even said she does not know if the two of them will ever get back together. However, the "Montecarlo" star said she wants to move on from being associated solely with her past beau. "[It's] not necessarily about a specific relationship," Selena said of her emotional new track "Same Old Love." "Sometimes you're stuck in the same cycle. This is kind of my 'forget it' song. I'm sick of all of it."

To recall, Selena's moving performance of "The Heart Wants What It Wants" at last year's American Music Awards made headlines and was even linked to her breakup with the Canadian singer. "Everybody was talking about the same thing: my relationship," the singer recalled. "I was so exhausted. I said, 'I want this [performance] to be the last time I have to talk about this.' And acknowledge this feeling. I was kind of devastated. I was like, 'This is all I have right now. This is gonna be it.' And all I want is to move on."
