Priyanka Chopra thanked her huge followers on Twitter and Instagram before the airing of her American Television show "Quantico", created by Joshua Safran, premieres September 27.
The actress now has 11 million followers on Twitter and 3 million on Instagram. Priyanka, 33, joined the micro-blogging site in 2009 and is now one of the most popular Indian celebrities online. She then posted a video on her instagram page thanking her followers and fans.
"Thank u guys for the love!! #3MillionOnInstagram #11millionOnTwitter so Grateful!," the "Mary Kom" star tweeted along with the video link.
"11 million on twitter, 3 million on Instagram. Thank you so much. I truly feel very very loved... Very excited," she said in the video.
The sun should oblige this Bollywood actress might not seem unreasonable to her fans in India, where she is one of the nation's highest-profile celebrities. But in North America, she remains a virtual unknown outside South Asian Communities. Now the actress is banking on television to help her crack Hollywood.
"After being in movies for 13 years in India, I'm suddenly a debutante all over again," she said. "I'm scared and nervous - petrified, actually."
The first few moment of her show, "Quantico", will reveal much about Alex, who chooses to catch a flight in order to join the U.S. intelligence force in Virginia instead of boarding a train as told by her mother.
She has today become one of the much loved actresses in Bollywood after starting her career with Femina Miss India contest. She has been winning great compliment for her performance in the trailer of 'Quantico'. The actress also shared the first episode of the show titled 'Run'.
The "Gunday" celebrity is as well working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's love story "Bajirao Mastani" in which she is essaying the character of Peshwa Baji Rao's first wife Kashi Bai. The film is scheduled for December 18 release.
