Miley Cyrus and Dane Cook are good pals, but they are turning into something more.

The 22-year-old daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus is looking for a 'funny' guy, and is turning to the 43-year-old comedian to fulfill her needs, Us Weekly reported.

Dane, who reportedly once romanced Jessica Simpson, has been frequently sighted partying with Miley. The two were even spotted dancing on the dance floor at a Los Angeles club The Woods in December 2013.

Interestingly, Miley chose a quote from Dane to repost on Instagram right after her then-boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger was snapped taking body shots of other girls in March. "Don't you ever let someone treat you like a yellow starburst. You are a pink starburst," the post read.

"The Last Song" actress has been linked to Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell just few months after her split with the eldest son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver in April. However, Miley has denied being in a relationship at that time.

The 2015 VMAs host has been open about her sexuality. In fact, she admitted to Time magazine in June that she doesn't want to be restricted by gender stereotypes when it comes to her relationships since different people bring out the different things about her.

"I don't associate men and protection necessarily," the Disney alum said. "I think that's what's given me the openness of sexuality."

Miley split from her ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth September last year. She stayed out of a romantic affair until she started going out with Patrick, International Design Times reported.

Meanwhile, Dane is best known for the 2016 movie "Employee of the Month" which he crafted with Jessica. Having a strong presence in stand-up comedy, he also starred in 2007's "Good Luck Chuck" and 2008's "My Best Friends Girl."

Moreover, he is a Cambridge, Massachusetts native. He has also been linked to Raquel Houghton, Nicole Scherzinger, Julianne Hough, Heather Ashley Chase and Nikki Giavasis, DailyMail informed.
