Sony To Release New PlayStation 4 Controllers and HDD Base Covers

Sony has revealed new additional items for their PlayStation 4 which include four new controllers and nine new HDD base covers. The new gaming devices was announced during the company's pre-TGS press conference in Japan.

The new DualShock 4 controllers are available in four different colors namely gold, silver, steel black and crystal. It is expected that the price of the said gadget will be at around $54.

Nine new HDD base covers will also be released by the Japanese multi-tech company. Some of the color variation in the new panels are red, gold, silver, yellow, pink, light blue and purple. The new features will be available at a retail price of $21.

The new controllers and panels will be launched first in Japan on November 6. The gold and silver DualShock 4 controllers will be released first to the Western countries according to Sony. The other devices will then be accessible in the later part.

With the new additional items, PS4 players will now have the freedom to play their favorite video games using different colors of their consoles and plates. This will make the gaming experience more fun and exciting.

During the Tokyo Game Show, Sony has also revealed some of their new technology which can be anticipated by the gaming enthusiasts.

The company announced their new reality headset for the PlayStation 4 which will be called 'PlayStation VR'. According to some, the new name sounds a little bit odd compared to its earlier code name 'Project Morpheus'. The launching of the new device was revealed during the company's keynote address.

The PlayStation 4 price will also be marked down only in the Japanese market according to the tech company. The former 39,980 yen or $467 will now be sold at a price of 34,980 yen or $409.

The company also announced some new set of games that will soon be released.
