'Rogue One' First Look: [SEE] Felicity Jones And Diego Luna In Amazing 'Star Wars' Set Photos With Dead Stormtroopers? [PHOTOS]

'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' is officially filming, and it looks like an all-out fight has already started!

The first 'Star Wars Anthology' movie is being directed by Gareth Edwards, who had previously stated that 'Rogue One' will be like a war movie. "It's the reality of war," Edwards told The Verve. "Good guys are bad. Bad guys are good. It's complicated, layered; a very rich scenario in which to set a movie."

The war may have already begun, as 'Rogue One' set photos have been found. TMZ released the pictures, which were taken in Buckinghamshire near London. The 'Rogue One' photographs show the remains of a ship that may have crashed, as well as images of Felicity Jones, Diego Luna and Donnie Yen standing close to the ship generator previously seen in 'Return of the Jedi.'

The most shocking pictures show a few lifeless Stormtroopers lying in close proximity of what looks like the body of a Rebel fighter. Was there a fight that ensued between the Stormtroopers and the lone Rebel? Are the bodies the remains of the crashed ship?

'Rogue One' will be the first Star Wars movie that will not feature a single Jedi. Gareth Edwards has previously announced that the film will focus on people who do not control the Force.

"It comes down to a group of individuals who don't have magical powers that have to somehow bring hope to the galaxy," Edwards said.

Not much is known about 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' other than the basic plot and the recently announced cast and crew. However, one cast member may have offered a hint to the identity of his character in the film.

Mads Mikkelsen recently signed a 'Star Wars' memorabilia with a single name: Galen. Fans believe that the 'Hannibal' actor will be playing a version of 'Star Wars: The Force Unleashed' video game character Galen Marek.

'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' is scheduled for release on December 16, 2016.
