Charlie Hunnam Explains Exit from Fifty Shades of Grey

According to Charlie Hunnam he found his exit from Fifty Shades of Grey's  ''most emotionally destructive and difficult thing''.

Charlie Hunnam a 35 year old actor was the original cast to play the role of Christian Grey in the erotic movie Fifty Shades of Grey  before he decided to turn his back and 40 days later he felt it the most "heartbreaking" decision he has ever made and it still haunts him now.

On VMan magazine Hunnam said ''It was the worst professional experience of my life. It was the most emotionally destructive and difficult thing that I've ever had to deal with professionally. It was heartbreaking.''

Hunnam said the most difficult dicision in his life was when he called Sam Taylor Johnson the director of the movie that he was backing out and revealed that he spent 20 minutes crying, his tears even went trcikling down the phone after he broke the traumatizing news.

He said ''I called her [Sam] and we both cried our eyes out on the phone for 20 minutes. I needed to tell her that this was not going to work.''

Hunnam explained ''There was a lot of personal stuff going on in my life that left me on real emotional shaky ground and mentally weak. I just got myself so f***ing overwhelmed and I was sort of having panic attacks about the whole thing. I just didn't know what to do.''

Despite the criticism and the popularity pace Fifty Shades of Grey,  romantic erotic drama, it made its way in the box office with and garnered  $469.7 million worldwide.

Charles Mathew "Charlie" Hunnam was born on april 10, 1980 a screen writer and English actor, he is popular in his movies in 2013 as Raleigh Becket in Pacific Rim, in 2005 he was Pete Dunham in Green Street Hooligans, in 2002 he took the title role in Nicholas Nickleby, , in 2001-2002 he played Lloyd Haythe in the Fox comedy series Undeclared, in 1999-2000 he was Nathan Maloney in the Channel 4 drama Queer as Folk, and from 2008 to 2014 as Jackson "Jax" Teller in the FX drama series Sons of Anarchy.
