Her appeanace on the Charlie Sheen show "Anger Management" was supposed to be part of a career resurrection, but if one report is true, it instead turned into another source of trouble for Lindsay Lohan as she tries to make a comeback.
TMZ reported Friday that Lohan might have stolen jewelry and wardrobe items from the "Anger Management" set. TMZ cited anonymous sources on the set of the FX show. E! Online did a little bit of Internet detective work, comparing recent pictures of the actress to a shot from the set and noticed that one bracelet in both pictures looks pretty much the same. Overall, the haul, according to TMZ included: two bracelets, a necklace, sunglasses, a pair of shoes, gold earrings, a silk bathrobe, lingerie and tap shorts.
TMZ added that people on set weren't pleased with Lohan's attitude or work ethic. She showed up late, once refused to come out of her trailer for two hours and "left early to go clubbing and threatened to not return," the site reported.
"We're told during filming ... Lindsay decided she was going out clubbing one night, and took a bracelet, a necklace, earrings, pants and shoes from the wardrobe department," TMZ wrote on its website. "Yes, the stuff never came back."
Lohan responded on Friday that she did take the jewelry, but she didn't steal. Instead, she had the OK to take what she wanted and have it deducted from her salary, TMZ reported. Sources soon responded to the gossip website, saying that couldn't be further from the truth.
The stint joins the long list of troubles for the actress, who in recent years has become better known for her off-screen antics than her on-screen performances. Once again, the incident on the set of "Anger Management" is likely to raise questions about if Lohan is ready to return to work in Hollywood or if she will continue to provide more fodder for gossip magazines.
