For the first time, Nick Gordon, opened up and gave his side of the story regarding the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.
American reality television and media personality, singer, and actress died last July 26, after being found faced down and unconscious in the bathtub last January 26. She was in a coma since then.
A $10-million wrongful death suit was filed against Nick Gordon by Brown's rep, Bedelia C. Hargrove. Nick Gordon was Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend and they were allegedly having an argument the night she was found unconscious in her tub.
The suit Hargrove filed accused Gordon of giving the young actress a "toxic cocktail" that caused her to get unconscious that fateful night and eventually lose her life.
Jose Baez, Gordon's criminal lawyer defends him saying that the claim is "slanderous and meritless". They claim that they have documents to support Gordon's claim as to what transpired during that night.
He denies all other allegations made against him that includes physically abusing Bobbi Kristina, hitting her on the face to the point of knocking out her tooth.
The allegations further claims that he had defrauded his girlfriend and tried to control her so that he can benefit from her wealth. Reports have it that her mom, Whitney left her some $20 million.
Radar says the attorneys will file documents Tuesday night asking the Superior Court of Fulton County, GA to dismiss the case against Gordon.
The papers state, "Plaintiff's Complaint as answered by Defendant contains several unsupported conclusory, untrue criminal accusations that Defendant Nicholas Gordon committed acts that he simply did not do. Plaintiff has not provided any evidence including but not limited to, affidavits, police reports, indictments, and or any documentation to support baseless claims made against Defendant..."
