Candace Cameron Bure ‘The View’: Before ‘Fuller House,’ DJ Tanner Debuts With Paula Faris And Joy Behar – Conservative Viewpoint Left Out?

The past year has seen a big return of the actress who became famous playing DJ Tanner in "Full House," a year after she finished in the third place on the 18th season of "Dancing with the Stars" - besides starring in the Netflix sequel "Fuller House," now Candace Cameron Bure's on "The View"!

The first talk of Candace Cameron Bure on "The View" came in the middle of the summer, when the actress and author guest-starred on the show and told Raven-Symoné, who also came to fame as a child actress during her stint in "The Cosby Show," that she sided with the Oregon bakers in the gay wedding cake controversy.

After she made those comments, that first Candace Cameron Bure "The View" appearance became a viral sensation, prompting rumors that she was being offered a hosting gig in the show - something that was confirmed weeks later.

According to E! Online, ahead of Candace Cameron Bure's "The View" debut as co-host, the 39 year-old star took to Facebook to ask for fans to say kind words to her through social media, as most of the audience in the show consists of "mean, hateful and downright nasty" liberals.

"Please tag The View on your social media outlets if you have anything kind to say about me or my viewpoint," Cameron Bure wrote. "The majority of the feedback I get from The View audience is from liberals (whom I love) but are mean, hateful and downright nasty toward me. It's incredibly disheartening to read."

However, as ABC News reports, once she was on the stage things were fairly different, as the actress turned television hostess said she couldn't wait to have "healthy conversations and respectful conversations," as she's currently just in one segment of the show because of her work filming "Fuller House."

However, according to Fox News, there was one issue that prompted controversy: even though Cameron Bure's supposed to provide a conservative point of view in the show, she was left out of the conversation about Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who was recently jailed because of her refusal to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

Hopefully, this mishap won't become a rule during Candace Cameron Bure's "The View" appearance!
