'Star Wars: Rogue One' star Donnie Yen recently found out that some secrets are just too awesome to keep, and he might get into trouble for telling!
The 'Ip Man' actor was recently announced to be a part of the cast of 'Rogue One,' which also stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen and Tom Mendelsohn. Donnie Yen's role in the first 'Star Wars' standalone film was not revealed, although he was featured in the promotional photo that introduced the cast.
Now it looks like Donnie Yen has revealed some 'Star Wars' secrets on his Facebook and Instagram accounts. According to CBR, the Chinese superstar posted a photo showing three different Stormtrooper helmets with the caption, "I am the force and I fear nothing... Going to put this in my company's display room."
Although the picture was quickly taken down, CBR has a screenshot of the image.
There is no surprise in the middle helmet, as it is similar to the trademark Stormtrooper helmets that have been seen in Episodes IV to VI. However, fans immediately zeroed in on the black helmet similar to the Darth Vader helmet as well as the beige one that looks worn and beaten.
There are speculations that the black helmet belongs to an Imperial fighter pilot, since a similar version has appeared in 'A New Hope.' According to Entertainment Weekly, the beige helmet might belong to a Scout Trooper, as it resembled the ones seen in 'Return of the Jedi.' EW suggests that the helmet has been camouflaged for a new desert terrain.
'Star Wars: Rogue One' might also feature another big bad villain in Grand Moff Tarkin, who was killed off in 'A New Hope.' There are reports that the filmmakers are planning to create a CGI version of the late Peter Cushing as Tarkin into the movie.
