Singer-songwriter, Chris Brown ripped his pants while performing on stage after throwing out some energetic moves to the beats of 'Hit The Quan', reports say.

The 26-year old recording artist was on his 'One Hell of a Nite' show held at the Bridgeport on Sunday, August 23, when his performance went a bit wrong after he had his jeans ripped off as he and his back-up dancers split at the crotch.

While the seemingly embarrassed singer was thankful that he was wearing underwear when the incident occurred, reports added that Brown apparently had to cut his performance shortly as he ran backstage and dressed himself, screaming to his fans that he was having "another repair".

Prior to the event, the singer was reportedly getting close again to his former lady, Rihanna. According to some insiders, the ex-couple have become closer again because of Royalty, Brown's only child to Nia Guzman.

Though Brown was not able to keep his relationship with his recent ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, in good terms, the 'Loyal' singer admitted that he and Riri have remained good friends.

"Me and her (Rihanna) are friends. We have a great understanding, there are no issues. We've been friends for almost 10 years and I don't think that's ever gonna change." he said.

Rihanna has been recently linked to Lewis Hamilton and Karim Benzema. Chris Brown on the other hand has been enjoying being a father to Royalty and admitted how fatherhood changed his life.

"There comes a time when people kind of have to grow up and become more of an adult and take on different responsibilities," he said. "I think this was just a blessing in disguise with my daughter because I get a chance to look at her and teach her the right path and also be a father in my daughter's life."

Brown went on saying, "Just to see a smile on her face, just to see the littlest things, is emotional for me, so I just love the aspect of being a father now."
