Taylor Swift Performed 'You Oughta Know' With Alanis Morissette

The 'Bad Blood' hit-maker, Taylor Swift, never really misses a surprise as she brought another treat to fans with her stunning guest, Alanis Morissette, during her Monday show at L.A's Staples Center, according to reports.

Swift invited Morissette on stage to perform a surely unforgettable duet of her 1995 classic single, "You Oughta Know". As the 25-year old pop star introduced her to the huge crowd, she described her as an artist who "defined the music of her decade".

"She inspired a generation of confessional female singer-songwriters who all of a sudden felt like you could actually say these raw feelings that you had." Swift said. "You could actually sing about your real life, you could put detail to it, you could get really, really mad if you wanted to."

Swift went on to say, "I think it's fair to say that so many of the female singer-songwriters of my generation, including myself, would not write the way that we do without her and her music. And she has written some of the most brilliant music, in particular probably unarguably the greatest breakup song of all-time."

While her fans could probably think they've already had enough bonus from Taylor, the surprise guests didn't stop with Morissette as she also graced the stage with the comedian superstar, Ellen DeGeneres, who hit the spotlight, sporting a glamorous outfit while dancing to Taylor's "Style".

From Alanis Morissette to Ellen Degeneres, Swift had more surprises during the night as she introduced Dixie Chick's Natalie Maines on stage to perform the band's hit song "Goodbye Earl".

Morissette, DeGeneres and Maines are just three of Swift's long enlisted big-named guests who joined her amidst completing her biggest '1989' world tour for the year. Other stars who had graced the stage with Taylor included Julia Roberts, Fifth Harmony, Chris Rock, Nick Jonas, Mariska Hargitay and Mary J. Blige.

Taylor Swift will be heading to her next '1989' show which will take place in Los Angeles, CA, Staples Center, on August 26, Wednesday.
