"Dancing With the Stars" is gearing up for its 21st season, and they just announced the first celebrity competitor - Bindi Irwin!

Famous for being the daughter of the late Steve Irwin, the 17-year-old revealed on Good Morning America on Monday that she is set out to win that mirror ball trophy.

"The judges scare me more than crocodiles," Bindi Irwin joked as she expressed her excitement. "I'm really, really excited and so honored to be a part of this new journey and new chapter of my life," Bindi Irwin said.

"I have to tell you, this is completely different to anything I have ever done in my life. I'm used to wrangling crocodiles," she shared.

She even tweeted this morning: "The happiness of adventures that await." That adventure probably includes wardrobe choices too, since she'll be rocking looks that are an extreme opposite of her typical outfits, she says:

"I'm used to khaki and boots and I think it will always be a part of my life. We always say khaki just isn't a color, it's an attitude; it's a part of who we are. You can't just climb a tree or wrangle a snake in a dress very easily, so this is completely different. For me, 'Dancing With the Stars' has always been something I've admired."

  

Bindi Irwin first appeared on her late father's TV series, "The Crocodile Hunter." She was eight years old when her father passed away.
