Meet The 18-Year-Old Fashion Model With Down Syndrome Who WIll Walk At New York Fashion Week

Be inspired today by knowing the story of Madeline Stuart. She is this 18-year-old model from Australia with Down Syndrome. Her story first came out this year after posting some amazing photos on her Facebook page. Her life changed after a lot of people reposted her photos that she eventually went viral online.

According to Cosmopolitan magazine, after Madeline became famous online, modeling agencies and offers have flocked her emails. Her mother, Rosanne was overwhelmed by the amount of responses her daughter received from those stunning photographs they uploaded online. Little did they know that it is going to be the beginning of Madeline's modeling career.

Her current project involves being signed to do some runway walk during the New York Fashion Week in cooperation with MODA and the Christopher Reeve Foundation. A handbag company called EverMaya also recently signed her to model for their products. But it is not just to model for the company, but to also be its face that they even named the handbag collection after her. These designer bags would be launching on August 14.

Cosmopolitan Magazine made an interview recently with Madeline's mother and everyone who would learn about her inspirational story would be motivated to go after their dreams and believe that nothing is impossible. Not even having Down Syndrome could hinder someone if they really want to chase their dreams and make it happen. Rosanne told the magazine that it is currently a big deal that Madeline was asked to join the New York Fashion Week and it is not just the only thing that is happening. There is a lot going on that they are so overwhelmed by them.

Rosanne wasn't surprised anymore that her daughter would be asked to be a part of NYFW because of the many offers prior to that.
