Miley Cyrus: ‘Hannah Montana’ Made Me Hate My Body, Disney Channel Show Gave ‘Wrecking Ball’ Singer Anxiety Attacks – And Caitlyn Jenner’s A Friend! [VIDEO]

Long before Miley Cyrus was sticking out her tongue everywhere and posting cheeky pictures of herself, the world met Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter as an innocent pop star who went undercover as a regular teenager in Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana" show, where she became famous - but, as it turns out, the Disney Channel series had its major setbacks.

Although these days Cyrus oozes self-confidence, often talking about the road she had to take to be as comfortable in her own body as she is now, it seems like at the time of Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana" show things were quite different, as she was scrutinized by the media since she was a young teen.

In a recent interview with Marie Claire, the "Wrecking Ball" singer and occasional actress spoke about Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana" days and what it was like to grow up in the spotlight, comparing her stint on the widely popular Disney Channel show to "Toddlers and Tiaras."

"From the time I was 11, it was, 'You're a pop star! That means you have to be blonde, and you have to have long hair, and you have to put on some glittery tight thing,'" said Miley Cyrus about "Hannah Montana," according to People Magazine. "Meanwhile, I'm this fragile little girl playing a 16-year-old in a wig and a ton of makeup. It was like 'Toddlers & Tiaras.' I had f------ flippers."

During the same interview, she also recounted having anxiety attacks during Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana" days, saying she was sure this time caused her some "body dysmorphia," as she was asked to be someone she wasn't in real life - and it's been a long ride since for the singer, often deemed controversial.

Billboard reports that, besides speaking about Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana" days, the singer also dished about her friendship with Caitlyn Jenner, saying the two have talked about how it's impossible to make everyone else happy - and that Caitlyn has to tell her story or "everyone else is going to tell it for her."
