Tom Hiddleston Channeling Hank Williams in New Photo For ‘I Saw The Light’

Tom Hiddleston has been known to be one of the sexiest and drool-worthy actors out there.

Famous for his role as Loki in the "Avengers" and "Thor" franchises, Hiddleston is embracing a country look as Hank Williams for the upcoming biopic, "I Saw The Light."

Taking on a role of a cowboy is definitely a far cry from the British actor's other-worldly looks, but he's still looking mighty fine (and clean cut!) in the newly released photo.

He's obviously sporting a large cowboy hat (of course, that was no surprise), along with a burgundy hued suit jacket matched with a white crisp shirt and deep blue necktie.

For the biopic, "I Saw The Light," Tom Hiddleston takes on the role of the late country singer Hank Williams. The latter died at age 29 in 1953 due to heart failure, just after battling substance abuse - from prescription pills and alcohol.

Talking to E! News correspondent Marc Malkin at Comic Con last month, Tom Hiddleston shared the struggles of his new film role.

"Everything about it was challenging. I'm obviously not from the American South, not born in [1923] and I'm not a country singer. But it was thrilling. It was a really thrilling role to play... I think it's completely different from anything I've ever done," said Tom Hiddleston.

Elizabeth Olsen stars in the movie as well, playing the role of Audrey Mae Williams (nee Sheppard) - Hank Williams' wife. Cherry Jones and Bradley Whitford are also co-starring in "I Saw The Light."

Catch Tom Hiddleston in "I Saw The Light" when it hits theatres on November 27. The film was writted and directed by Marc Abraham ("RoboCop," "The Man With The Iron Fists," "In Time," "Bring It On," and "Dawn of the Dead").
