Hollywood Remembers Robin Williams on 1st Death Anniversary

Exactly one year ago, Actor Robin Williams passed away. The death of the legendary funnyman and Academy Award winner sent shockwaves throughout the entertainment industry that are still being felt today. To commemorate his unimpeachable body of work, his friends and family shared their favorite memories of him.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, who co-starred alongside Williams on CBS' 'The Crazy Ones', took to Instagram to post a lengthy tribute featuring the bench from Good Will Hunting.

Williams' 25 year old daughter Zelda, announced on Instagram a couple of weeks back that she would be taking a break from social media as the anniversary neared:

Kinda hoping I fly thru that very cloud on the way home ️ on another note, I will be taking a break from social media in the coming weeks. It's a time better served away from the opinions or sentiments of others, and I appreciate your understanding. In my absence, I understand there will be those who wish to leave messages regarding Dad on my board, but please attempt to be respectful and kind to one another in the process, both because I will not be here to delete or mediate trolling, and because kindness is in short supply these days anyhow Thanks guys. Buh-bye now! ️

Williams will appear on screen one last time in Terry Jones' Absolutely Anything, which hits theatres on August 14.
