A body matching the description of (Annie Lennox's daughter) Tali Lennox-Fruchtmann's boyfriend, Ian Jones, was discovered at the Hudson River in New York City.
Found on Monday, the body was also reportedly found "near where the couple where kayaking on Saturday," as per Entertainment Tonight.
Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Captain John A. Watterson issued a statement: "The body has been removed, and is scheduled to undergo an autopsy on Tuesday to determine the cause of death and identification."
"While there is a strong possibility that the body recovered is that of Mr. Jones, it remains only a possibility at this time," Watterson continued.
The statement also added, "Further information will be released once the autopsy is completed and official identification made, and at this time the search for Mr. Jones has been suspended until further notice."
Annie Lennox's daughter, 22-year-old Tali Lennox Fruchtmann went on a kayaking adventure with her 32-year-old boyfriend, Ian Jones. Things unfortunately took a turn when the kayak capsized on Saturday morning.
Tali Lennox-Fruchtmann was then rescued by a passing vessel after the tragic accident. Both Tali and Ian were not wearing life vests during the accident. Ian Jones has been missing since.
On Monday, Tali Lennox-Fruchtmann posted an Instagram snap as a tribute to her deceased boyfriend. "My heart is shattered. My best friend, my soul mate, my partner in crime & creativity, the LOVE & LIGHT of my life is not longer with me," Tali wrote.
"All the love that has been sent to me is giving me the strength to get through this. I know that he is so so happy that I was safely rescued. Let us honor & celebrate this beautiful soul & keep following the light," added Tali Lennox-Fruchtmann.
Entertainment Tonight attempted to reach out to Annie Lennox's reps for a statement, but none has been released for the time being.
