Is Sam Smith More Than the Male Adele?

The English singer and songwriter, Samuel Frederick "Sam" Smith got  his swift rise to international stardom by his ability to transcend the decades (musically speaking). The reason also is that, Sam Smith hammers down Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams and Taylor Swift in February to win a field-leading four Grammy Awards that includes Song and Record of the Year.

The English-bred pop sensation Sam Smith just turned 23 years old, Smith became expert in impeccably crafted songs that captured the sound and style of some of the classic American R&B balladeers of the 1960s.

The Stay With Me hitmaker was also greatly inspired by the artist whose 1958 classic, "Come Fly With Me" - Frank Sinatra, and at the age of nine when Sam Smith began his jazz vocal lessons, it was the song "Come Fly With Me" he first learned.

Smith sounded like an old soul in a young body when he sang his chart-topping tale of unrequited love, "Stay With Me." The Grammy winner is like an old soul with a heavenly voice, plus he got a supple falsetto and note-perfect delivery. Before Smith signed a solo deal, Disclosure's "Latch" and Naughty Boy's "La La La" were the singer's  first two hits on which he made an impact as a guest singer - his performance indicated of what he is capable by on his own.

Sam Smith has been hailed as the "male Adele," and the artist will make his San Diego headlining debut on Tuesday at Valley View Casino Center.

When Sam Smith went on to get his first glimpse of the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado - which sources said th`at Smith was pretty darn excited about, a pair of girls was interviewed by the camera crew about their yoga event. "They've got beginner to advanced instructors on stage and they will help you out," Luisa says as Smith walks up behind her and makes a peace sign. "You're getting photobombed," the cameraman warns her. They just laugh. A few moments later, Luisa even tells the scene stealer to "get out of here."
