Cheryl Cole Still Believes in Marriage, Wants Five Children

Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole, whose four-year marriage with Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole ended in divorce following his infidelity, still believes in marriage and is looking forward to having a big family.

Cheryl Cole, who is currently dating her backing dancer Tre Holloway, said in an interview for the December issue of Glamour magazine that her dream of starting a family with Ashley was shattered, but she would marry again to start a family.

"Could I see myself getting married again? Never say never. I always said I'd like to have a big family, because I'm from one, so I'd like four or five children. But I don't know realistically if that's going to happen. You can't assume things. I never thought I'd get a divorce," she told Glamour magazine.

"It's the broken plans you have made that are the hardest to get over. Ashley and I would talk all the time about starting a family - well I would anyway."

She revealed that she felt like she was cheating on her ex-husband Ashley when she started dating after the divorce.

"It takes a long time after you've been with someone as long as I was [with Ashley] not to feel like you're cheating on them. That may sound crazy, but it's the way I felt after him. I had completely committed myself," she told Glamour magazine.

"Dating someone who's not in the industry can be difficult but dating someone in the limelight has its own problems. Everything is intensified. If I fell in love with a binman I'd be happy but if I fell in love some really famous man I feel like that would belong to the media," she added when asked if she prefers dating a non-famous person.

Cheryl Cole's professional life is taking a new turn besides her love life. Girls Aloud is releasing their new single "Something New" this month.

The five-member all-girl band announced their comeback after 10 years last week. They will release their new single Nov. 18 this year and their second greatest hits called "Ten" Nov. 26. They also announced a tour called "Ten - The Hits Tour 2013".
