Kylie Jenner's bunny is the new addition to the family, and she's certainly set to raise a few eyebrows with this one.
Controversy is practically Kylie‘s middle name. As if wedding rumors aren’t enough, The 17-year-old named her new pet bunny Bruce, after her father who now goes by Caitlyn Jenner. Is this a dedication to her father?
The reality star who will be turning 18 in a matter of days, has shared several Snapchat clips where she and her pal Pia Mia are welcoming the new addition to the Ky and P family.
As an active Snapchat user, Kylie’s fans always know what’s going on in her life. She showed her followers that she got a pet bunny on August 4, and while the videos are super cute, one really caught her fans' attention — the name reveal.
In the snap, the star could be seen driving her car after picking up Kylie Jenner bunny in a cardboard box.
But it’s in another video that got everyone confused when Kylie Jenner bunny was being held by her friend while Kylie can be heard saying “Hi Bruce!”
Kylie got the bunny with her BFF Pia Mia, who can be heard in another video asking Kylie, “How do you feel about having a bunny?” While driving the Kylie Jenner bunny home, Kylie excitedly replied, “I feel so good!”
It is thought that Kylie has chosen the name in honor of her dad Caitlyn Jenner’s former name.
Although the video is the only evidence that the bunny’s name actually is Bruce, it is a rather unusual choice. Bruce isn’t the most common name for a bunny, and the name has quite the relevance to Kylie.
Her father’s name used to be Bruce, but after a gender transition in June, her dad prefers the name Caitlyn.
Then again, Khloe Kardashian did admit in an interview that Kylie and the rest of their sisters often still refer to Caitlyn as Bruce, and she doesn’t mind.
