The multiple award-winning pop star is definitely not one to shy away from controversy in her life or social media, and Miley Cyrus' Instagram shows, once again, that the singer behind hits like "Wrecking Ball" is not afraid to show some skin to get the job done - but the social network may not like that attitude all that much.

In the past, comedian Chelsea Handler and most recently "Lip Sync Battle" co-host and model Chrissy Teigen have spoken against the social network's perceived sexist censorship policies, and now it's the turn for Miley Cyrus' Instagram to make a stand, as the former "Hannah Montana" star posts a few topless snaps.

According to Just Jared, Miley Cyrus' Instagram has seen the 22 year-old pop star recounting her summer vacations these days, and the more shocking snaps see her showing off her slim figure in photos where she's wearing no clothes, only strategically place stickers.

The Inquisitr reports that the Miley Cyrus Instagram photos happened as the pop superstar went to the beach with BFF Katy Weaver, so she decided to share a few photos of her time, which evidently included a lot of tanning without a bikini on, as she posted a few snaps of herself.

The pictures remain on Miley Cyrus' Instagram, but the social media site has a history of taking down provocative images showing unclothed bodies, having done so in the past for a few female stars, something that even started a trend called #FreeTheNipple.

In her usual shock-finding manner, however, Cyrus' social media account didn't only see her barely dressed: after having famously let her armpit hair grow and dying it in unnatural colors, The Huffington Post reports that the pop star decided to wax it all off posting step by step snaps on the account, basically grossing a lot of people out.

In any case, Miley Cyrus' Instagram shows, once again, that the young singer, reportedly dating Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell, does pretty much anything she feels like doing!
