National Junk Food Day 2015: 9 Bizarre Snacks To Try

In celebration of the National Junk Food Day, CNN listed 9 of the most bizarre snacks for people to enjoy during the holiday.

CNN's Amy Roberts and Julie In tried out munchies with unusual tastes and weird flavor combinations, and gave each of their personal reviews.

First on the list is Heinz Sriracha Ketchup. This ketchup with a bit of Sriracha kick, according to Roberts, is great to be paired with a breakfast sandwich. "I like the kick of Sriracha at the end and the balancing sweetness of the ketchup, but the hint of garlic seems out of place. I like garlic on its own, but here, it seemed like a third wheel interfering in the marriage of Sriracha and ketchup," In added, although she didn't try it with a breakfast sandwich.

Next is the Amp Energy Zero Blueberry White Grape drink. This sugar-free energy drink gives you a sudden rush with a really tasty flavor.

Star Wars fans might want to try the General Mills 'Star Wars' cereal. "It's like Fruit Loops and Lucky Charms got married and had babies," according to Roberts, that come in shapes of light sabers and space ships. In described the "fruity cereal and marshmallows" would take you to "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away."

Trader Joe's Baconesque Popcorn's white cheddar and smoky bacon flavorings can invite vegetarians to try this snack themselves. Although there's no 'vegetarian' label on its packaging, Roberts thinks its "baconesque" description which means it's not really bacon isn't too bad for non-carnivores.

Next on the list is Kellogg's Special K Popped Delights. Served in individual packages, these "soft rice cakes with chocolate icing" gives you "chocolatey goodness" with only 60 calorie counts.

Though people are used to cheesy crackers, Pepperidge Farm Honey Bun Goldfish Grahams has a nice honey flavor that may taste better with ice cream or a bowl of milk.

Gluten-free fans must try Snyder's of Hanover Gluten-free Hot Buffalo Wing Pretzel Sticks. The spiciness and crispiness of these pretzels could take over your usual Super Bowl favorite.

Nabisco Toasted Coconut and Sea Salt Triscuits limited Martha Stewart edition may be worth a try. Though In isn't much of a fan of the sea-salt and coconut combination in triscuits, Roberts thinks otherwise saying, "they're pretty scratchy" but she likes them.

Lastly, the Sunshine Extra Toasty Cheez-its' "extra bake time", according to In, "brings out the cheese flavor". Roberts disagreed, however, saying she'd rather stick with the original and other flavors.
