In his final movie, Robin Williams portrayed the role of a sad suburban husband struggling with his marriage and sexuality in the indie film, "Boulevard", PEOPLE reports.
The clip showed the Oscar winner's scene with Kathy Baker playing his on-screen wife. The emotional film showcased Williams in a heavy drama, a contrast to his usual comedies.
According to film critics, "Williams gives one of the best performances of his career" in this movie.
The legendary comedian committed suicide in August 2014 and died at the age of 63. According to his widow, Susan Schneider, Williams suffered depression and anxiety, and was struggling with early stages of Parkinson's disease.
Diagnosed with the neurological disease in November 2013, Williams also suffered anxiety and insomnia due to his illness. The actor's paranoia and depression were among the reasons that prompted him to hang himself with a belt strapped around his neck.
His body was found when his personal assistant used a paperclip to open the door of the bedroom he locked himself in. Coroners reported the actor was wearing a black shirt and black pants at the time of his death.
People were shocked upon learning his death, knowing that the "Patch Adams" actor was popular in making people happy.
"Robin spent so much of his life helping others," Schneider told CNN. "Whether he was entertaining millions on stage, film or television, our troops on the front lines, or comforting a sick child -- Robin wanted us to laugh and to feel less afraid."
Williams' daughter, Zelda paid tribute to her father by getting a hummingbird tattoo dedicated to him.
"I wanted to honor my father, and to put it on my hand, the hand that I shake hands with. It meant a lot to me. I really enjoy it," she told US Weekly.
Williams had two other sons, Cody Alan and Zak.
