With so many incredible superhero movies ahead, it seems like 2016 will be a year for the ages for geeks all over the world, with major comic companies DC and Marvel releasing their best for the year, including the third installment of the "First Generation" movies with the X-Men - like Olivia Munn's Psylocke!

Olivia Munn's Psylocke was announced last spring, as the beautiful "Magic Mike" actress joined an all-star cast that also includes the likes of Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, her "Mad Max" ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, Academy Award nominee Michael Fassbender and even Sophie Turner, best known for her role as Sansa Stark on "Game of Thrones."

Now, after weeks of teasing and director Bryan Singer showing Oscar Isaac's look as title villain Apocalypse, the most recent edition of Entertainment Weekly reveals how another big baddie for the film, Olivia Munn's Psylocke, will look by the time of the film's release.

According to E! Online, Olivia Munn's Psylocke is on the cover of the magazine, joined by regular Fassbender and Isaac's character in a trio of villains for the upcoming film, after actors like January Jones (as Emma Frost) and Kevin Bacon (as Sebastian Shaw) have played baddies in the prequel franchise where sir Ian McKellen and sir Patrick Stewart became friends.

Ahead of the cover showing off Olivia Munn's Psylocke to the world for the first time, The Mary Sue reports the 35 year-old actress took to Instagram to show off her amazing new 'do, with the bright purple curls that the character she portrays is best known for.

Although Betsy Braddock, also known as Psylocke, appeared in the 2006 film “X-Men: The Last Stand,” played by Meiling Melançon, the character was only around briefly and wasn’t fully exploited the way she is in the comics, something that’s about to change in next year’s film.
