Kylie Jenner has found herself being dragged into a drama-filled week when her boyfriend Tyga was accused of cheating on her with a transexual and she was slammed by Amandla Stenberg over the weekend, accusing her of "appropriating black culture."
The 'Hunger Games' actress accused the reality star of not using her celebrity status "to help black Americans" when she posted a pouting selfie showing off her new cornrows.
It was no surprise that the couple are trying to keep a low profile as they moved on from the incidents by heading out for a quiet date night. Kylie and Tyga were photographed grabbing sushi at Nobu in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The 17-year-old reality star went back to basic with her choice of hairstyle for the night. She swept her dark locks into a simple ponytail, showing that she has taken out the cornrows which caused so much controversy this weekend.
Kylie wore a thigh-high black boots and a leopard-print coat for the outing. She was clearly not in the mood to take some pictures as she hid her face behind a big designer handbag while she was being photographed by the crowd.
This is the first time the pair have been seen together after it was revealed that Tyga has reportedly asked the FBI to investigate who leaked his nude photo online to allege that he was in an affair with a transgender model.
The 25-year-old denies ever sending the photo although he's acknowledged it is real and his attorney Lee Hutton told TMZ they have reached out to the Federal Bureau of Investigation because they believe the image was hacked.
“Above anything, Kylie believes Tyga and doesn’t believe he’s in a relationship with Mia,” an insider told HollywoodLife exclusively. “She doesn’t think he’s capable of deceiving her like that. Besides, he’s given her his word that he’s being honest.”
