It's been barely weeks since the man who hosted "The Late Show" for over two decades stepped down from the CBS show, and television greatly misses David Letterman's Top 10 lists as the 2016 presidential campaign carries on - but things have gotten so funny the comedian couldn't keep to himself after retiring!

During a recent appearance at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio, David Letterman's Top 10 lists came back if only for a short time, as the iconic television host and comedy legend dedicated a few funny words to Donald Trump, the billionaire and GOP candidate that has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons in the past few weeks.

According to Gawker, the new David Letterman Top 10 list came as the famous comedian took the stage as a guest of pals Steve Martin and Martin Short, and it took no time for him to dedicate a moment to list "Interesting Facts About Donald Trump."

E! Online reports that the David Letterman Top 10 list was part of Short and Martin's new stage show tour, "A Very Stupid Conversation ... with Music," and Letterman took to quip on how the three of them had met, saying that it'd happened during a Scientology mixer.

The Texas crowd applauded Letterman upon making an appearance, as he admitted he didn't regret retiring - until, as Newsweek reports, Trump launched his own presidential campaign, prompting Letterman to say he had made "the biggest mistake" of his life!
