Over the past few months, it seems like Zayn Malik's Twitter is making headlines more often than not, after the 22 year-old singer left the band that made him famous, One Direction, only to enter a feud with Naughty Boy, who was collaborating with him on his upcoming solo project.
In the last couple of weeks, Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Khan, has spoken at length about his coming collaborations with the former One Direction member, even supposedly leaking a preview to the music Malik's currently working on - but Zayn Malik's Twitter shows that it meant taking things a bit too far away from the singer's comfort zone.
According to Hollywood Life, there's no official confirmation about who leaked the video, but Zayn Malik's Twitter makes it quite clear that he's convinced it was Naughty Boy, prompting him to go on a Twitter rant insulting the songwriter and producer.
Billboard reports that the Zayn Malik Twitter rant happened in the early hours of Monday, as the former boy band member called out the record producer for being "fake" and to "stop pretending we're friends," making headlines all over the world as it had been understand the two artists had grown very close following Malik's split form the band.
News outlets such as The Mirror have heavily criticized the former boy band member over the Zayn Malik Twitter rant, saying that Naughty Boy had in fact offered Malik a shoulder to cry on for the star after his controversial split from the band.
It seems like since the incident, Malik and Naughty Boy have unfollowed each other from Twitter, and it would seem like this is the end to a short-lived yet intense work relationship.
Malik is currently working on his first solo album, and he's also recently purchased a home alongside fiancée Perrie Edwards.
According to The Daily Mail, this isn't the first time Zayn Malik's Twitter shows the singer going on a rant, as a while back he lashed on former band mate Louis Tomlinson to defend Naughty Boy.
