American stand-up comedian, writer, and actress Amy Schumer wrote and stars in the new comedy Trainwreck. Schumer looked around the movie set to take in the scenery in an upper floor of a former warehouse in Manhattan, near where she grew up in the city. The setting is designed similar to a swanky New York magazine office.
Recently, Amy Schumer had just shot a scene with Tilda Swinton the Oscar winner. Trainwreck is directed by Judd Apatow, and Apatow is Schumer's mentor in making the film. Trainwreck would be like the king of the raunchy romantic comedy.
Ms. Schumer uses bluer language, that became known for her previous shows, said, "We just liked the idea that there's this calendar: This is it, you're not," lust-worthy anymore, "Inside Amy Schumer."
Kim Caramele, a writer and producer of the show and the sister of Ms. Schumer were enthusiastic but couldn't get the bit off the ground, that said, "We tried to get it made for three years," Ms. Schumer said. "And actresses all said no." "Still, the team didn't give up, continually rewriting the sketch." and the producer added: "That was like the white whale."
Amy Schumer said that, even when the Trainwreck was about to begin its production, it all seemed a little bizarre for her, having the film with a lead character named Amy and was inspired partly by her own indecent stand-up persona.
Michele Schreiber, a teacher of film and media at Emory University said that Amy Schumer is "perfectly suited to a changing cultural landscape in which the word 'feminism' is slowly losing its negative connotations," Michele Schreiber also said, adding that Ms. Schumer "dispels the most persistent point about feminists, which is that feminists can't take a joke."
Amy Schumer's Trainwreck initial release on USA will be on July 17, 2015. Trainwreck Music composer is Jon Brion, and Screenplay by Amy Schumer
