Everyone knows that Channing Tatum used to be a stripper way before he was an actor. But he's obviously had that yummy body probably since he was born.
The "Magic Mike" actor recently shared a throwback photo from when he was still in high school. In fact, the photo dates back to 1998 when he was in a body building contest for Tampa Catholic High School.
The 35-year-old actor has played some notable high school-aged roles for movies like "She's the Man" and "21 Jump Street" but now there's no need to imagine what Channing actually looked like in high school.
The photo boasts of Tatum wearing just a Speedo to hide his privates, and flexing not just those hunky arms, but those lick-worthy abs too.
During his interview with GQ magazine, Channing shared his work out philosophy. "Truthfully, this is how I approach my work out: I want to be the best athlete I can possibly be."
He continued to explain, "If I can out-perform some of the better athletes then I'm happy. When I look at the NFL or the NBA, these guys look how I want to look - it's useable, functional muscle."
With that, one can surely bet that Jenna Dewan's husband works hard for his body not just cause of the looks but also to be fit, healthy, and strong overall.
But the incredibly buff "Magic Mike XXL" star has also been devoted to bodybuilding. In fact, he even molded his muscles to make it look like "the real life Mark Schultz" for his portrayal in the 2014 film, "Foxcatcher."
Schultz even talked to The Oregonian about how he helped Channing Tatum get the right body. "We worked out, and I gave him some exercises to do to widen his lats. He knew how to make his neck and his arms bigger but the thing that people noticed about me was how wide my lats were."
"I told him to just walk around flexing your lats all the time. Even when youo're sitting down just flex them and you'll be surprised how wide they'll get. He did, and if you look at thim in the movies, his lats are really wide," Mark Schultz continued to explain.
