Hilary Duff may be known as Lizzie McGuire, and she's also known for her singing career. But above all, Duff prioritizes her job as a mother.
As she stepped out in New York City on Tuesday to promote her new album, "Breathe In. Breathe Out," the actress and singer shared some of her son Luca's recent achievements with E! News.
The "Sparks" singer talked about potty training with her son. "He potty trained really easily. I was so lucky. I didn't push it. I just waited until he started to show an interest in it and kind of told him that his older cooler cousins are all potty trained."
Hilary then added, "And it worked! He's been a really easy kid so far. He can have his moments, for sure, but I want him to have a strong personality. It'll serve him right some day."
As a growing boy, Luca seems to be developing a super star kind of personality, although the three-year-old might not have that much in common with his parents.
"He's not super into music. He really likes some of his songs. He has a playlist on my phone. But he's really into cars. He loves cars and planes and he wants to play all day, every day," Hilary Duff explained.
Hilary continued, "So I don't think he's going to be into hockey or singing. I think he's going to find his own little jam."
As for co-parenting with Mike Comrie, Duff said, "We do a really good job with it, I will say. It's not the easiest at times but we are a really strong team and work really hard to just keep things as normal as possible for Luca."
