John Stamos DUI: Uncle Jesse Arrested And Hospitalized Over Drunk Driving – Will He Still Produce Netflix ‘Fuller House’?

It's been a busy few weeks for the actor who became a television star in the 90s by playing womanizer Uncle Jesse in "Full House," and John Stamos' DUI arrest seems fairly off character for the Greek-American performer, who has led a mostly tabloid-free life throughout his career.

The recent John Stamos DUI is, to the best of the public's knowledge, the first time the "E.R." actor has ever had any problems with the law, and it comes at a time when he's often making headlines after confirming he'd be producing the Netflix reboot of the 90s family show, "Fuller House."

According to CNN, John Stamos' DUI happened last Friday, when the "Glee" actor was pulled over in Beverly Hills, then being taken to a nearby hospital when it was thought he may have suffered damage - and it was there where he was arrested over suspicions of driving under the influence.

USA Today reports that John Stamos' DUI happened after police received several calls about erratic driving in the area, and the actor was ultimately pulled over at approximately 7:45 p.m. local time, then being escorted to a local hospital for testing; afterwards, Stamos was placed over arrest and released from the hospital.

According to E! Online, Stamos, 51, was cited to appear in court later this year, and he's scheduled to appear at the LAX courthouse over the John Stamos DUI charge on September 11 this year.

Besides his involvement in the upcoming reboot of the beloved series, Stamos will be part of the new sitcom "Grandfathered," besides being scheduled to announce the Emmy Awards nominees with "Orange is the New Black" star Uzo Aduba later this summer.

For now, the actor, who is very active on social media like Twitter and Instagram, hasn't stepped forward to speak about John Stamos' DUI, but it's safe to say that his recent arrest won't be reason for the halt of production, as she 13-episode reboot series is set to begin shooting this summer and get its release sometime in 2016.
