NVIDIA GTX 980 Ti Set to Improve 4K Gaming

Worldwide technology company Nvidia is positive that their new video card GeForce GTX980 Ti will take 4K gaming to the next level as the latest graphics processor will allow desktops to handle the increasing number of 4K games already available in the market.

The new GTX 980 Ti, which only costs $649, is a lot cheaper than GTX Titan X which has a price tag of $999. The new high-end card performs better than the 2014-issued GTX 980.

The GTX 980 Ti has 2816 CUDA cores and 6GB RAM, indicating that it is better than the GTX 980 which only has 4GB RAM. It is not as expensive as GTX Titan X but the two have a similar GM200 GPU component.

Players who will run games like 'Grand Theft Auto V' will not experience and buffering or slow down during gameplay. The whole 4K playing experience will be enjoyed immensely.

GTX Titan X remains the fastest product of Nvidia, but its price is beyond the capacity of most gamers. GTX 980 Ti is a close second to it in terms of performance.

4K games have pixels four times the number of what common screens use, which makes it visually rich. Running these kind of games require a sophisticated GeForce GTX PC for a better gaming experience.

Tom Peterson, the director of technical marketing for Nvidia explains that virtual reality headsets like the Oculus Rift will be enjoyed better with the new GPU.

Nvidia's competitor AMD is also planning to release a new and improved version of their video card this quarter. AMD's latest product is still the Radeon R9 295X2, which is also offers te best speed and performance. It was released in 2014 and can also handle 4K games.

The latest card from Nvidia will be launched and sold beginning today.
