Former Olympic track star Bruce Jenner recently came out as a transgender male and is making a buzz all over the media due to the transition that he is about to show the public. His next step is to be photographed as a female on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine this July.
According to the Daily News, behind all this careful planning of his transformation are Kim Kardashian and former wife Kris Jenner. He is getting a lot of support from this major change that he is going through with his life, but his family however, is concerned about the public making a joke out of it.
This is not the first time that Jenner would appear on a cover of a magazine, but this is definitely the first time he will be on one as a woman. Out.com said that the reality TV show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" revealed the tentative schedule of the Vanity Fair release will be on the summer of this year.
It all started when Diane Sawyer interviewed Jenner on her show 20/20 last April which gained 20.7 million viewers. Jenner has not been interviewed since then. This is also going to be his next press release move, since he came out on that show. Annie Leibovitz will be the one shooting his Vanity Fair session.
As for the new name that he will finally use for this transition, Inquisitr found out via In Touch Weekly that he is now going to use "Kaitlyn Jenner." This is so it would still be in line with his family's naming choice, as the public knows all of them start with the letter K. For Jenner, it is a name that is both feminine and classy.
But despite of all the changes happening to the former decathlon star, he still wants for the press to use "he" and "him" when referring to him.
