Indiana Jones Bar: Disney World Gets Hangar-Themed Bar Based On Harrison Ford Iconic Movies! [PHOTOS]

Ever since Disney Pictures announced they had purchased Lucasfilm for an astounding amount of money (about $4.06 billion), the company has been focusing on reviving some of the most iconic franchises the studio gave the world - and now that will include an Indiana Jones bar at Disney World!

Fans of Harrison Ford's classic characters get great news pretty often these days, as the actor will be reprising some of his most iconic roles in the near future, including this year's release of "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" and a "Blade Runner" sequel, but the Indiana Jones bar at Disney World sets a completely new precedent!

Not long after rumors of a fifth installment of "Indy" began, as well as a sequel of Ford's 1993 film "The Fugitive," the new official announcement of the Indiana Jones bar at Disney World has fans of the actor (and particularly those of the franchise of the archeologist) in a twist!

According to Time Magazine, the new Indiana Jones bar at Disney World will be named after Indy's friend and pilot Jock Lindsey, and as such will reflect the story behind the famous franchise through an aviation theme, complete with vintage travel posters, ceiling fans and even a diving bell booth.

IGN reports that the Indiana Jones bar at Disney World will be located particularly in Downtown Disney, the area dedicated to shopping and dining right outside the theme park in Orlando, Florida.

There's no information on whether other Disney theme parks would be adding the same bar in the future.

"The design team has gone to great lengths to ensure that every element - from the propeller-based ceiling fans and diving bell "booth" to the 'Rolling Boulder Meatballs' on the menu - fits within the storyline," wrote Darcy Clark, the Marketing Manager of Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World Resort, on the theme park's website as the announcement was made.

It's unclear whether Jock's snake pet Reggie will also make an appearance, but it would make sense that an Indiana Jones bar at Disney World would have the sliding reptiles, but why does it always have to be snakes?
