Wyoming widow, Valentine this year was extraordinary. Her husband may have passed away, but he proved that even in death, his wife will receive her favorite roses on Valentine's Day. It came as a surprise when a widow from Wyoming received bouquet of different roses and the next thing stunned her more.
The Wyoming widow Valentine gift was from her husband of 28 years! "Happy Valentine's Day Honey. Stay Strong! Yours Forever, Love Jim," it reads.
Shelly Golay received the flowers two days before Valentine's Day. She first thought that those were from her children.
But after calling the florist, she was left with tears after learning that it was her late husband Jim who arranged everything so she will receive flowers every year on holiday until the day she dies New York Daily News reports.
"He's such an amazing man and he just can love beyond boundaries," Golay told WCTV. "There is no boundaries with him, even in death. He's just amazing."
With such a sweet gesture, for the 52-year-old Wyoming widow, Valentine flowers she received from her late husband Jim just proved his eternal love for her. Jessie Row, a representative from the flower shop confirmed that Mrs. Golay will receive different colored roses every year until she dies.
The Wyoming widow Valentine arrangement was made by her late husband Jim after learning that he has inoperable brain tumor in 2012, and he has only four months to live.
Jim knowing that his time is limited made sure that Valentine's will be special for his wife every year so he called up the flower shop for the arrangement.
Shelly's husband may have died, but it was his love for her that remains living just like a fairy tale love as she called it. She added the fairy tale romance, the knight in shining armor, you just don't find that. And even though they didn't get the fairy tale ending, his love was amazing.
Jim Golay was 53 when he passed away due to brain tumor. He was detected with tumor on Easter and only had four months to live. He was the 'rock of the family,' he was an inspiration for Shelly. She even called him 'Ironman' that after he had chemo, he was still strong and active that he go for snow machining.
As reported by Today, Phil Monroe, manager of Nate's Flowers verified the Wyoming widow Valentine flowers were ordered and previously paid by Mr. Golay eight months ago. Monroe also told that Casper floral store will deliver a dozen of assorted roses every year on Valentine's Day.
The flower shop was also unaware of the reason behind Jim's arrangement. When they knew the truth, they were also shocked and felt fortunate at the same time that they became instrument for fulfilling Jim's wish for his wife.
The Wyoming widow Valentine arrangement also shocked Shelly's children. Shelly's daughter was crying all the time when she knew it.
The Wyoming widow Valentine flowers that Jim arranged for his wife is really something that his wife is really proud of. It's not about flowers, but it's how pure his love was for her. Are you touched with the Wyoming widow Valentine story?
