Fans who love to hate Kevin Spacey's Frank Underwood and his wife Claire (played by the beautiful and talented Robin Wright) can now rejoice with the new "House of Cards" leak, after Netflix accidentally released episodes of the highly expected third season a few weeks ahead of time.
Unfortunately, fans of the show outside the United States will still have to wait until February 27, as the "House of Cards" leak only occurred in Netflix's main server in the US; however, the time is drawing near for the official release, and it's unclear whether the on-demand streaming site will be releasing the new "HoC" season earlier after they made the small and tiny mistake.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the "House of Cards" leak was an honest mistake from Netflix, and not a marketing ploy as many had thought when the whole thing happened late last Wednesday.
Of course, when the "House of Cards" leak became public, fans all over the country went into a frenzy, taking to social media like Twitter and Facebook to talk about their excitement
Everyone had their say about the "House of Cards" leak - including the show's official Twitter account, according to IGN. Of course, the account is usually used for news about the show (from shooting even to Kevin Spacey's recent Golden Globes win for playing the vicious character), but what they had to say about this leak was hilarious.
"This is Washington," the "House of Cards" tweet started. "There's always a leak. All 13 episodes will launch February 27."
Unfortunately, as CNN reports, the new episodes disappeared from the site as soon as they came in, after Netflix apologized saying that a glitch on the site had been at fault for the early release.
In any case, those who got the chance to enjoy even a little bit of the "House of Cards" leak will have at least a little more to wait for before seeing President Underwood again!
