‘Transparent’ Amazon: Golden Globe Winning Show Streaming For FREE Amazon This Saturday!

For those who love to catch up with the latest award-winning shows but haven't gotten the chance to get an On Demand subscription to watch the Jeffrey Tambor Golden Globe-winning comedy, now's the chance to see "Transparent" by Amazon Studios, as the website will be streaming it for free worldwide over the entire Saturday.

A couple of weeks ago, the new show by a major online company took home two of the biggest awards of the night at the Golden Globes, Best Actor in a Comedy Series for Jeffrey Tambor and Best Comedy Television Series - now, for those who haven't been able to catch up, "Transparent" by Amazon will be streaming for free to give possible users a glimpse of what they're missing out.

According to Engadget, the "Transparent" Amazon strategy is just as it sounds: making the entire show (which is to say, the 10-episode first season) available for anyone to watch, even if they don't have a subscription to their Amazon Prime service, which includes faster shipping and the possibility to access their On Demand service, which is pretty much a type of pay-per-view.

"We're incredibly proud of everyone involved in the making of Transparent-the team took a risk and it paid off," said Jeff Bezos, who is the founder and CEO of Amazon, in a recent press statement, according to Pink News. "Big kudos and congrats to Jill, Jeffrey, and all the cast and crew."

The show, starring Tambor, is a dramedy (mixture between drama and comedy) that follows a Los Angeles family after they discover that the father of the house, played by Tambor, is transgender and wants to begin the transitional process.

According to People Magazine, the free "Transparent" Amazon streaming comes as the company wants to honor the series' success at the Golden Globes, after the show officially posted that it'd be available free of charge to anyone on Saturday, January 24, 2015 - so, for everyone who hasn't seen it yet, it's time to binge-watch the show!
