To make the first two layers ahead is recommended before adding the next layer.
Ingredients
First layer
1 package lime Jello
2 cups hot water
2 cups cold water
Second layer
1 package lemon Jello
1 cup hot water
1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
1 small can crushed pineapple
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 small can crushed pineapple
Third layer
2 packages orange Jello
2 cups hot water
2 cups cold water
Garnish
Whipped cream
Directions
1. Dissolve the lime Jello in the hot water; stir in the cold water. Pour into a 14x10x2-inch pan. Chill until partially set.
2. Dissolve the lemon Jello in the hot water in the top of a double boiler. Add the marshmallows and stir until they melt.
3. Remove from heat and add pineapple; soften cream cheese. Beat together with a spoon. Stir in drained pineapple. Cool slightly.
4. Dissolve the orange Jello in the hot water, add the cold water. Chill.
5. Pour the orange jello over the congealed lemon mixture layer. Chill until the top layer is congealed.
6. Slice into squares and serve on lettuce leaves. Garnish with whipped cream.
