George Clooney Golden Globes 2015 Speech: Amal Alamuddin And Charlie Hebdo Get Mentions In Clooney’s AMAZING Speech

After hostesses Tina Fey and Amy Poehler poked fun at the actor due to the fact that his new bride Amal Clooney (née Alamuddin) is an obvious overachiever in the field of human rights, George Clooney's Golden Globes 2015 speech showed the class of who many consider the 21st century Cary Grant.

As would be expected of the very socially and politically aware actor, director, screenwriter and producer, George Clooney's Golden Globes 2015 speech as he received the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award was a true homage to current events in France and across the world - as well as to beautiful wife Amal.

If there's one said that can be said about George Clooney - besides the fact that he took a very long time to settle down - is the fact that he's always a class act whenever speaking in public, and the George Clooney Golden Globes 2015 speech was no exception.

According to Time Magazine, the highlights of the George Clooney Golden Globes 2015 speech included a long ode to his new wife Amal Alamuddin and a shout-out to the people of France for the Charlie Hebdo protests, as well as speaking about the different marches across the world in support of the weekly satirical newspaper.

"It's a humbling thing to find someone to love, even better if you've been waiting your whole life," Clooney first said, according to The Daily News, speaking about his new wife Amal Alamuddin, whom he married over the past summer. "I couldn't be more proud to be your husband."

Later, according to The Independent, he went on to say how "extraordinary" a day it had been in the world, due to the fact that there had been millions of people marching all over in support of the cartoonists in Charlie Hebdo, from different religions including Christianity, Judaism and even Islam.
