Following the company's long-standing traditional of releasing a new doll with her own personality by the beginning of each year, now the newest "Girl of the Year" for 2015, has been announced: American Girl's Grace Thomas, who loves cooking and wants to make her own French bakery!

For the Wisconsin-based company, it's become a tradition to release a new and beautiful doll to the world every New Year, showing a strong-minded personality for each of the little 18-inch dolls that follow different cultures and ethnicities in the country, just like the 9 year-old American Girl Grace Thomas!

According to Herald Online, the announcement of new American Girl Grace Thomas came at New Year's Day, as fans of the brand expect have grown to expect it at the beginning of every year, joined, as tradition dictates, by a small book with the biography of the new addition to the American Girl family.

Of course, millions of girls in the country were excited to hear all about the new American Girl, Grace Thomas. According to ABC News, 9 year-old Grace dreams of making her own French bakery, and her biggest passion is cooking - and she even started a small business with her beloved profession with her two friends!

Each of the dolls will sell for $120, but little girls across the country can also buy accessories based on Grace's interests, like her baking set, the French bakery, a bistro set, a French bulldog and, of course, a whole lot of clothes for her to get dressed up, from pajamas to French-inspired little outfits.

The new member of the American Girl family has long brown hair and big blue eyes.

According to Bustle, the American Girl Grace Thomas launched also came with a new campaign by the major Mattel brand, called "No Kid Hungry," in which little girls (and their parents) are invited to contribute towards the elimination of child hunger in the United States.
